Nina is a little over 3 years old, and loves to play with toys that spark her imagination.

Playmobil Funpark recently gifted Nina with the ZOO playset from the 123 range.  When I showed it to her, she couldn’t wait to get started!

The toy set was nicely packed, and relatively easy for Nina to put together.  I helped her the first time around, but she has since then learnt how to build it herself.

Nina was excited to familiarise herself with her new Playmobil playset.

She is very organised, just like her mama.  Look at how she laid out all the pieces on her little table before starting to put everything together! 🙂

The set is ideal for toddlers of 18 months and over.  Safety is no issue; there are no sharp corners in the shapes themselves.  The vibrant colours are extremely appealing to little eyes, and it is not just fun for Nina to play with this playset – it also helps develop her fine motor skills!

There were no instructions in the box, but it was very easy to build by just looking at the photo on the box itself.

Here is my very happy Nina: “Let’s build the zoo mama!”

Nina likes to do everything herself, so I let her take her time to figure it all out.

Nina’s favourite part of the Playmobil set is the monkey swing.  She adores pushing the monkey to have it swing back and forth!

Nina has been playing with this Playmobil playset for over two weeks and uses it daily.  Originally, the plan was to set it up in her bedroom, so that she could enjoy playing with it alongside her other toys.  The Playmobil playset however, is being transported in Nina’s Trunki suitcase from room to room, depending on the time of day and Nina’s mood.

In the morning, it has served as a great wake up call, since Nina plays with it while I get her dressed.  The playset is migrating to our coffee table in our living room in the afternoons, as well as the bath during bath time.  I am well aware that this is not an actual bath toy, but what’s the worst thing that can happen to a plastic zoo in shallow water?  Nina has been so happily entertained in the bath, this, I kid you not!

The Playmobil ZOO playset forms part of the 123 range.  This range is manufactured in Malta and shipped worldwide.  Pretty darn cool, right?
